Downtown Neighborhood – Within a very short walk of the church, the Hamilton District offers a variety of restaurants and coffee shops (with many Sunday brunch options for after worship), and entertainment venues. The Allentown Art Museum, diagonally across from Grace, is open noon to 4 p.m. Sundays and admission then is free; the museum cafe is open Sundays, as well, noon-3 p.m. The church is in the Neighborhood Improvement Zone (“The NIZ”), which has brought significant new development near the church in the past few years, and reminds us of our call to work for justice for those who are not experiencing improvement, including many service workers and persons in need of affordable housing in our neighborhood.
• Parking is generally available in metered spots near the church, along 5th Street, which are free on Sundays. Please be mindful of street cleaning signs. Although there is a lot of construction in the neighborhood (signs of growth!), there is ample parking in the downtown area, including the Linden/Transportation Parking Deck at 6th and Linden (northwest corner, entering on 6th).

Grace Food Pantry is open 9-11 a.m. Fridays and the third and fourth Saturdays of each month, in Hadesty Hall. The entrance is on the 5th Street side of the church.

Grace Montessori School is housed at 814 W. Linden Street (between Eighth & Ninth), four blocks west of the church, at the “spiral” parking deck.

Bethany Christian Services, which oversees local refugee resettlement, is located on the second floor of Grace (enter from 5th Street). Bethany, the Refugee Community Center at Mediator, and Grace now join in offering support for refugees making this area their home.

Dress for Success is by appointment and has an office downstairs at Grace, with space for services to support women re-entering the workforce; enter on the 5th Street side of the church.

Narcotics Anonymous meets at Grace 11 a.m. Sundays in Hadesty Hall; enter on the 5th Street side of the church.
